Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Keflavik Airport - Reykjavik (No Meals)

Arrival at Keflavik Airport. Transfer to Reykjavik hotel on your own.  Rest of the day at leisure. O/N at Reykjavik.

Day 2: The Golden Circle & Northern Lights (B)

Today tour the sights of the Golden Circle. Start with a stop at a local supermarket in the town of Hveragerði, where you can see and shop some typical Icelandic goodies. Continue to the explosion crater called Kerið. Explore the hot spring area of Geysir. Strokkur, the Great Geysir's little brother, is spouting to a height of about 25 meters and erupts at about 5-7 minute intervals. Drive to the mighty Gullfoss - the Golden Waterfall. Stop at Pingvellir National Park - UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the night, you hear about the Northern Lights from your tour guide and go in search of Northern Lights. O/N in South Iceland.

Day 3: Leisure Day & Northern Lights Hunt (B)

Leisure day with time to relax in the hotel's hot tub and enjoy the fresh clean air of Iceland's tranquil countryside. If you prefer to be a bit more active, we offer two optional guided excursions.

Explore the region near the active volcano and glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Visit the high but narrow Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Skógafoss waterfall. Stroll on the black lava beach to see the amazing bird cliffs at Reynisfjara near Vík.

Tonight you can enjoy a movie presentation about Northern Lights as a part of the Northern Lights educational program and chase the Northern Lights. O/N at South Iceland.

Day 4: Reykjavik City Tour & Optional Blue Lagoon (B)

Today, we return to Reykjavík and see the sights of Iceland’s capital. See the charming city center, the Parliament, the harbor and Hallgrímskirkja Church. Pass the Harpa concert hall and visit the Pearl. The afternoon is free at leisure, to explore Iceland's capital on your own, or do a bit of shopping before going home. 

Optional Tour 3: BLUE LAGOON
Afternoon bus transfer & entrance fee. Stay at the Blue Lagoon for 2.5 hours. O/N at Reykjavik.

Day 5: Reykjavik - Keflavik Airport (B)

Depart from Reykjavik hotel to Keflavik Airport on your own.

General Notes

  • Cost is based on minimum 1 Adult travelling on single occupancy or 2 Adults travelling on twin share
  • The ROE considered 1 EUR = INR 81; the payment will be collected based on the ROE of the day of payment
  • A Schengen Visa is issued to travel to Iceland which also gives access to all other Schengen countries. In India, the Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi handles visa applications for Iceland
  •  If your flight is via UK, then you will also require a transit UK visa
  • All taxes and charges are quoted as on today. Any increase in fuel/hotel/other expenses due to any unforeseen circumstances, will have to be borne by the passengers
  • Itineraries may be subject to change at short notice during severe weather conditions and certain outdoor activities/day trips may be cancelled during the winter season in Iceland. In these rare cases, where situations of force majeure apply, excursions/activities cannot be refunded but the local guides will try their best to find reasonable alternatives where and whenever possible
